Yr 12 Drama Night

Year 12 Drama students showcased their talents on Tuesday 9 October as they presented their engaging and diverse self-devised solo performances to family and friends. The students have been hard at work researching, brainstorming, improvising, scripting and rehearsing their solo in preparation for their Solo Performance Exam at the end of the month. The opportunity to present to a live audience was invaluable for the Year 12’s, as they gathered further feedback to continue refining their piece to ensure they are ‘exam ready’!

Presented at the Year 12 Drama Night was the Heather Lindhe Memorial Drama Award. This award is given annually to a Year 12 Drama student who has demonstrated natural talent and commitment to Drama over their time at the College. The 2018 awardee was Zachary Fitzpatrick. Zach has a natural flair for Drama, creating engaging characters that always delight audiences, and he has been involved in both school and community theatre over several years. Congratulations, Zach!
