Year 9s study ‘Lord of the Flies’

Year 9 students are studying the classic 1954 novel ‘ Lord of the Flies’  written by Nobel Prize-winning author William Golding.

Students sought to understand the novel better by a thorough examination of the themes, characters, setting, author meaning, and symbols.

9B1 used their knowledge and interpretation of the novel to create maps that represented the island. They used quotes as evidence to explain their maps as they presented to their peers.
