Year 9 Wheelchair Basketball

Students in Year 9 Health and Physical Education classes have recently been exploring diverse and equal opportunity sports and games.

As part of this Unit, students have developed skills and understanding across a range of practical activities, including blind and vision-impaired cricket, goal ball and wheelchair basketball, as well as a number of indigenous games, such as birray, buroinjin, marngrook and gorri.

A highlight for many students was the excursion to Red Energy Arena to experience wheelchair basketball skill development activities and major games.
