Year 9 News – 9 May 2024

10/05/2024

Term 2 is well underway and our Year 9 students are continuing their learning in electives and core subjects. This term will see students begin their subject selection process for St Mary’s in 2025 and they will start exploring different career options.

Many of our Year 9 student leaders attended a combined student leadership day at Sacred Heart College Kyneton. This was a great step in their leadership journey and development.

Students are reminded that blazers are to be worn when in winter uniform and that they must wear the long sleeve, winter shirts.

We also encourage as many Year 9 students as possible to attend the Careers Night on Tuesday 21 May.

Australian Athletics Championships

Congratulations to Grace Mulqueen who competed in Adelaide in the Australian Athletic Championships. Grace came third in the 1500m event and fourth in the 800m event, achieving personal bests in both.
