Year 9 Camp Week

28/03/2025

Successful camps ran at both Yarrawonga – Murray River and Falls Creek – High Plains during Week 8. An enormous amount of planning and supervision goes into these camps to provide students with new experiences. Thank you to all staff who contributed to the camp, giving up time with their own families to attend.

Student Reflections

On camp I had a lot of fun and found that it was a great experience. I got to see the beautiful scenery while I canoed downstream. I also got to learn more about the people I went on camp with and all-round had an amazing time. (Ella – Yarrawonga)

Camp was a very challenging experience. Eating food I am not comfortable with but still eating knowing I have another challenging day ahead of me. Splashing each other and just having fun. When you have done the experience, you feel so proud and I am glad I made the effort to go. (Paddy – Yarrawonga)

This year our camp went for three nights and four days. We all got to be in groups with our friends which made it a really fun experience. The views and experiences we had were amazing and everyone enjoyed it. (Kortez – Falls Creek)

Camp was so much fun. I was so happy when I heard we were going to see a waterfall, It was my first time seeing one. When we got there, it had to be one of the coolest things I had ever seen. I went swimming in it and got to go right under it. (Porsha – Falls Creek)
