Year 9 Explore Wearable Technologies at Bendigo Tech

As part of our current Body Systems unit in Year 9 STEAM, students have attended a 2-day program at the Bendigo Tech School which focused on wearable technologies. Students explored how modern technology can assist with various medical conditions and interacted with technology such as HoloLenses, CPR dummies and simulation dummies from the La Trobe Rural Health School. By the end of the program, students had designed and developed a prototype piece of wearable technology, that could assist a user with a medical need.
