Year 7 letters appreciated by Bendigo Health staff
15/12/2021Year 7 Catherine McAuley College students dedicated two days at the end of their school year to the ‘Community in Action’ program. They identified the COVID load on healthcare during the pandemic and responded by writing letters of appreciation and thanks to our staff.
The students, who also wrote to paramedics, vaccination workers, general practitioners and specialists, gained insight into the art of letter-writing – a new experience for many.
We hope the Christmas season brings peace and joy to everyone at Bendigo Health, and that the letters remind them how much they are appreciated by everyone.
The Year 7 letters are currently on display in the Foundation and Fundraising space located within the Bendigo Hospital atrium.
