Year 7 Boys win football round

SCHOOL SPORT VICTORIA – SANDHURST DIVISION

Year 7 Boys

On Monday 9 May, the CMC Year 7 Boys team travelled to Maiden Gully to compete against Bendigo South East College and Marist College Bendigo for the chance to win the Bendigo and District Football Shield.

Even though the team won both games comfortably, they played with great spirit, giving 100% effort and showing great sportsmanship throughout. Coaches Mr Dunham and Mr Murdoch were grateful to have the support of our senior students who carried out umpiring roles and helped coach the team.

The team will now begin preparations to play other district winners in the North-West of the state at Swan Hill later in Term 2.
