Year 10 News – 22 February 2024

Hello everyone! We are Mrs Lisa Darlow and Mr Paul Warner, the  Year Level Learning Leaders – Year 10 for 2024 at St Mary’s Campus. We are very happy to begin this role and have already met many of the wonderful students we have here at the College.

The year started very swiftly, with students beginning their academic year Period 2 on Tuesday 30 January. School Photo Day and Opening Mass quickly followed over the next few days. Week 2 featured Year 10 Encounter Days on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 February. The ‘Love Bites’ program was a feature of these days. The program focused on promoting respectful relationships between young people. The other part of these days was ‘Steps for Success’. Students had the opportunity to examine possible career paths, to develop study skills, begin the work experience process, celebrate a liturgy with their advocate group and play an exciting, fun game of Minute to Win It. Here are some student responses to the program.
