Winter Concert 2022
04/08/2022Welcome back, Winter Concert!
On Wednesday 3 August, Catherine McAuley College was thrilled to be able to hold our first Winter Concert in three years.
Students from Years 7 to 12 performed in small and large ensembles and solos with a smorgasbord of musical styles – from classical, Jazz, Pop and 80’s Glam Rock.
A crowd of approximately 200 parents, teachers and guests were enraptured by the outstanding performances of our students.
The concert provides a great opportunity for our students to perform before a live audience and showcase their progress so far. For our senior students, it is also another important way to help them prepare for the fast-approaching VCE exams.
We are looking forward to more performances from our students in person later in the year. It has been a delight to see the performing arts come to life again!
Well done to all our students and hardworking staff in the music department, and thanks to the many families who attended to encourage our very talented students.
An indication of what is happening in the visual arts was also on show, with works displayed in the Marian foyer before the concert.
