Will Whiteacre – Netball All-Star

Congratulations to Year 9 student, Will Whiteacre who recently competed in the Australian Men’s and Mixed Netball Association (AMMNA) Championships in Perth.

Will enjoyed a brilliant competition, playing Goal Attack in the championship-winning Victorian 17-and-under team. In a repeat of his debut with the tournament in Adelaide last year, the team remained undefeated throughout the competition.

He was pleased with his performance in Perth, attributing some of his success to his coach who has helped improve his game during the past year. Will had an impressive scoring rate of over 75% accuracy and he shot 200 goals during the week-long competition.

To round off a very successful campaign, Will was named Goal Attack in the All-Star line-up after his team secured a 74-29 win in the grand final against South Australia Dragons.
