Variety and Talent at Winter Concert

A wide variety of performance styles including choral, theatrical, classical and modern were on display for parents, friends and families of our talented students at the annual Winter Concert. The evening is an opportunity for our senior and junior music students to showcase their learning and the performance skills they developed across the course of Semester 1.

The first as Catherine McAuley College (CMC), this year’s Winter Concert saw performances from the Unit 3/4 students, students studying music in Year 10 as well as the co-curricular ensembles from Coolock. CMC music staff and students brought the Winter Concert to a close with a special combined performance of The Seal Lullaby by Eric Whitacre.

Big congratulations to all the performers of the night, the standard and talent on display is to be commended. We look forward to our next major music events including the Victorian Schools Music Festival for our concert bands and Musician of the Year in September.
