United Nations welcomed in song
05/09/2018Erin Howell of Year 10 has been selected to sing at the opening of the World Inner Peace Celebration of the United Nations Association of Australia at the International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour on Saturday 22 September 2018.
Erin will be performing, I am Australian to a crowd of delegates and participants from Brazil, The Philippines, Mozambique, Portugal, the USA and Australia. This is not only a fantastic opportunity for Erin but also one very special to her as her grandfather, Neville Howell – a former Australian Olympic medallist – will also be attending this conference.
Erin is currently studying Year 10 Music and is moving into her preparation for VCE Music Performance studies in coming weeks. As well as external community-based theatre groups, she has also been heavily involved in the Stage Door Camp and performances which are a big part of the performing arts program for the Sandhurst Diocese.
Moreover, Erin is an entrant in the Catherine McAuley College Musician of the Year evening next Thursday night, 13 September at 7pm.
We congratulate Erin on being recognised for her talent and wish her well for her performance.
