Two fun-filled and adventure-packed days!
21/03/2024YEAR 7 CAMP 2024
On Thursday 29 February over 300 Year 7 students embarked on a journey to PGL Adventure Camp in Kyneton. Over the course of the camp the students were given the opportunity to participate in a range of adventure activities including Leap of Faith, Flying Fox, Giant Swing, Laser Tag and Archery, while also undertaking team-building activities focused on improving teamwork, initiative and problem-solving skills. Overall, it was great to see so many Year 7 students making new friends and experiencing activities they had never encountered before. The following quotes are from a few of the students who attended the camp.
“I really enjoyed spending time with many different students in Year 7 and making new friends, as well as getting to know our existing friends better in a fun environment.”
“I liked gaining new experiences and doing different activities at camp, such as the Giant Swing and Laser Tag.”
“It was fun seeing the teachers getting involved too and working as a team with them.”
Finally, a big thank you to all of the students who went on camp, for the way in which you conducted yourselves over the course of the camp and to the staff who assisted with the planning prior to and during the camp, ensuring it was a great success.
