Tarah attends the Infinity Award Winners Day at La Trobe Bendigo

Prior to the start of this year’s school year La Trobe Bendigo ran their Infinity Awards Day with recipients of the 2024 La Trobe University Infinity Award. Year 12 student Tarah Frawley attended from Catherine McAuley College Bendigo.

During the day students learned about higher education and the experience of studying at university, toured the La Trobe University Bendigo Campus and Student Accommodation, participated in a Study Smart Workshop, heard from the Future Students Centre about courses offered at La Trobe University and received a first-hand explanation of the experience of studying at university from a current student.  Students were also spoiled with goodie bags and a plethora of morning tea and lunch goodies including slices, muffins, fruit, soft drinks and pizza!

All students who attended said that the day was worthwhile and that it increased their knowledge of La Trobe University and what it would be like to study at university in the future.
