Student Leadership Day

On Monday 24 February the College Student Leadership Teams from across both campuses gathered at St Mary’s to become familiar with the role of the Student Representative Council (SRC) and to  learn more about leadership, particularly in the context of Catherine McAuley College.

Throughout the day the students workshopped their plans and strategies to achieve their goals for 2020. There was a focus on the College’s 2020 – 2024 Strategic Direction and the six pillars that underpin the plan.

The key goals for the SRC teams related to:

• social justice
• improved student voice and communication
• implementation of environmental strategies to support the ReGen program
• Improved engagement of students with community
• Engagement and activities throughout break times

We look forward to many exciting initiatives throughout 2020.
