Sister Anne Cossar visits Year 7 Veritas classes

On 6 November, Sister Anne came to talk to our class about her life as a Sister of Mercy, why she chose to become a Mercy Sister and what it means to be a Sister of Mercy. Sr Anne spoke about her career and the achievements in her life. She also spoke about Catherine McAuley, her story and some of the amazing things she did, such as building the House of Mercy in Ireland to educate poor women. Sister Anne was very interesting and we hope to hear from her again.
