Senior Boys Volleyball in cut-throat match

Senior Volleyball

The Senior Boys Volleyball team recently contested the Sandhurst Division of the SSV competition. With only one opponent entering for the day, the team knew it would be a cut-throat match, with the winner progressing to the next round.

Bendigo Senior Secondary College fielded a talented team, and the match was alive from the first serve. The first set was tightly contested, with unforced errors weighing heavily on both teams.

Unfortunately, BSSC ran away with a break and took the set. In the second set, the CMCB team looked a little flat to start with, but rallied to draw even at 10-10. With every point being critical, the team didn’t capitalise on some clutch points, while BSSC fired when needed.

Although it was a straight-sets defeat, it was a solid contest. All players can be proud of the effort they put in to preparing and competing in the event. Thanks also to Mr Colin Hogan for coaching the Team.
