Science and Engineering Challenge 2024

Recently, a group of our enthusiastic Years 9 and 10 students took part in the University of Newcastle’s Science and Engineering Challenge Day, and they absolutely shone!

The event provided a hands-on dive into the exciting world of STEAM, where our students tackled real-world challenges through teamwork, creativity and innovation.

From building bridges to designing earthquake-resistant structures, their passion for science and engineering was on full display. These young minds not only showcased their incredible skills but also gained invaluable insights into potential future careers.
Well done to our future generation of scientists and engineers – you’re making us all proud! And a huge thank you to The University of Newcastle and Rotary Club Bendigo South for organising this amazing event each year.
