SCHOOL SPORT VICTORIA: SANDHURST DIVISION

Congratulations to all members of the Catherine McAuley College Swim and Diving Team that competed at the Sandhurst Swimming Carnival on Friday 21 February which was held at the Faith Leech Aquatic Centre. It was a great day for all with some outstanding achievements recorded. Below is a list of all those students and relay teams that finished in the top 3 of their event(s).

Special congratulations to Holly Hembrow, April Downing & Miller Nihill who were named as their age group Champions.

In the Diving section we had outstanding performances from Kiara Field, Annabelle Edwards and Maeve Hannaford. Kiara won the 15-16Yr Girls section, Annabelle won the 12-14Yr Girls Section with Maeve finishing as the 12-14Yr Girls Runner up.

Our results saw CMC finish 2nd in the Girls Division and 4th in the Boys Division, resulting in an overall placing of 2nd. A fantastic achievement by the whole team.

Good luck to those students who won their events and who have now qualified for the Loddon Mallee Regional day in Swan Hill on Thursday 17 March.
