Rug Up Day and coin lines support Vinnies

To support the work of Vinnies a gold coin Rug Up Day will be held on the last day of term, Friday 29 June.

Throughout this term awareness has been created about the great work of the St Vincent de Paul Society in our local community. Students are encouraged to ‘Rug Up’ and donate a gold coin on the last day of term for our annual Rug Up Day in recognition of those who struggle to survive the winter months. Heating will be minimal on this day.

A coin line will be held in McAuley Square at Coolock on Wednesday 27 June and each housegroup at St Mary’s is encouraged to contribute to a $50 voucher to donate to Vinnies to empower families.

Sincere thanks to everyone for their generosity in supporting and empowering local families, particularly during winter.

May we be inspired by the compassion of St Vincent de Paul and allow his spirit to fill our hearts with generosity.
