Refreshing the Teachers Toolkit

Last Friday the teaching staff of Catherine McAuley College and Marist College Bendigo had the pleasure of spending the day with Mr Glen Pearsall who shared his knowledge and research about building positive relationships and improving student engagement in our classrooms.

Through Glen’s use of real-world examples and at times humorous reflections of his own teaching career, we were reminded of the simple yet effective strategies we can adopt that will lead to increased positive interactions, improved relationships and better engagement in our classrooms.

It was great to share the day with the Marist staff as the networking and sharing of ideas will continue to make both Colleges more engaging and enjoyable learning spaces for our students.
