Leadership in Sport partners with St Therese’s
14/11/2024Over the past fortnight our Year 9 Leadership in Sport students have hosted St Therese’s Primary School in the Mercy Junortoun Sporting Precinct.
Our students have been working hard on their coaching and officiating skills during the semester and this was a wonderful opportunity to implement the skills they’ve learned. The St Therese’s students participated in two Pickleball tournaments, which were designed by our fantastic Year 9s.
Both sessions were very successful, with lots of participation and big smiles. It was wonderful to continue to foster the great connection we have with St Therese’s and give their Grade 6 students an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the College’s amazing sporting facilities before their Orientation Day later in the year.
This was an awesome learning opportunity for our students and we thank St Therese’s for their support!
