Intermediate Girls hitting the scoreboard when it mattered the most

Congratulations to our Intermediate Girls Basketball Team that won the Loddon Mallee Regional Finals day on Thursday 24 October. The girls managed to go through the day undefeated and hence qualify for the State Finals to be played in Melbourne on Tuesday 19 November.

All of the matches were tight, however no matter how much pressure was on the girls, they always managed to hit the scoreboard when it mattered the most, to secure the victories. The girls defeated St Joseph’s College Mildura, Maryborough Education Centre, Rochester Secondary and Swan Hill College.  It was a terrific day with ALL players playing brilliantly and working cohesively as a team.  Thanks to Mr Damian Driscoll for coaching the girls, and to Katerina Pizzo for being an amazing Team Manager.
