iGEN Students Lead Personalised Tours for Golden Rise Independent Living Residents

On Thursday 12 October our iGEN class welcomed the residents from Golden Rise Independent Living Units for a tour of our St Mary’s Campus. Students broke into small groups and led personalised tours to particular areas of the school that our residents were interested in. Some of the highlights included chatting to the Year 12 Food Studies students as they cooked in the kitchen, watching the Allied Health students undertake practical activities, exploring the Systems Engineering room and learning about the 3D printer, looking at our history in the Heritage Room and being mesmerised by our beautiful Chapel.  After the tour students and residents shared a packed lunch together. Overall, it was a wonderful day out, and a privilege to be able to share our school with the residents.
