I-Aspire Camp
13/11/2018This year, I was lucky enough to attend the I-Aspire Camp and represent my school. It was a great way to end the term, with lots of learning, new friendships and fun activities.
On this camp, I enjoyed meeting other students and staff and building a stronger connection with my aboriginal roots.
We saw many waterfalls in the Grampians and went on many walks around the land. A lot of us, including myself, would climb onto large rocks and take in the view.
We also enjoyed seeing the animals, such as cockatoos and kangaroos. But my favourite activities were the boomerang throwing and bonfires.
Overall, the camp was an amazing experience and I would love to go again. I encourage the other aboriginal students to join me next year.
