Harmony Week and Closing the Gap Day 2024

Our College celebrated Harmony Week with a number of cultural activities taking place at both of our campuses. The theme for the week is Everyone Belongs and seeks to celebrate that we are part of one large global family.

Our First Nations students, along with some FIRE Carriers, attended a cultural session with Troy Firebrace who taught them two Indigenous games. Our students than led these games at lunchtime.

On Thursday 21 March, we celebrated National Closing the Gap Day by raising awareness of the disparities in Heath between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. Students and staff added their ochre handprints in support of working together to close this gap.
