Exam Reflection and Headstart

The Year 10 and 11 students at St Mary’s have completed their end-of-year examinations and have conducted ‘exam reflection’ sessions with their teachers this week. These sessions have helped students to consolidate their learning from the year, and to critique their study techniques prior to embarking on their 2020 classes.

All Years 9, 10 and 11 students have commenced their Headstart program from Wednesday this week. The Headstart program enables students to gain a sense of the class routines, organise their study schedules and learn more information about their subjects so that they can confidently approach their studies at the beginning of 2020. It is especially useful for our students studying VCE Units 3 and 4 classes in 2020, as they can prepare further for these classes over the summer break.

We commend our students and staff for their application to this program and are impressed with the maturity shown by our current Year 9 students as they begin the start of their 3-year journey at the St Mary’s Campus.
