Environmental Science Students Excursion to Kyabram Fauna Park
09/05/2024VCE Environmental Science Unit 1 students enjoyed a day at Kyabram Fauna Park, gaining valuable insights into species diversity across various ecosystems and learning about the conservation and management of Australian native species.
During their visit, students gathered data using quadrats, transects and species-diversity assessments in the park’s wetland and grassland areas. They also had the opportunity to observe the animals and habitats within the park, with feeding the free-roaming kangaroos being a particular highlight.
Overall, it was a great day for everyone involved.
