COVID Safety Update: Face Masks, Hygiene & Social Distancing

FACE MASKS

All secondary school students aged 12 or older must always wear a face mask indoors and outdoors, unless a lawful exception applies. It is recommended that students also carry a spare mask or store one in their locker.

Only students who have an existing exemption or provide a medical approval in accord with the process will be allowed not to wear a mask. If seeking exemption, please refer to your child’s Year Level Learning Leaders.

HYGIENE & SOCIAL DISTANCING

To keep yourself, your friends and your family safe there are four key actions that Victorians are being asked to continue:

1. Stay at home and get tested if you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild.
2. Practise good hygiene – wash your hands and cough and sneeze into a tissue or your elbow.
3. Keep your distance – stay 1.5 metres away from people where you can.
4. Wear a face mask when required.
