COOLOCK STUDENT ASSEMBLY

The Coolock Student Representative Council (SRC) ran their first student-led assembly on Tuesday 7 May. The students developed the running sheet, wrote the scripts, organised speakers and performances and delivered the assembly to the Coolock student population.

We also welcomed the recently-elected Year 7 representatives to the Council.

Congratulations to all students involved in organising the assembly. Student voice allows students to engage, participate, lead and learn.

NAPLAN

All Australian Year 7 and Year 9 students will be participating in the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) testing from Tuesday 15 May until Thursday 17 May.  These tests are an important national process used to support students, schools and families in gaining a measurement of student achievement. At Catherine McAuley College, we use this information to help guide our targeted learning programs.
