CMC Boys through to Premier League Grand Final
19/06/2019Our Senior Boys Football Team dominated their Premier League Semi Final today at the Queen Elizabeth Oval against Mornington Secondary College, winning by a massive 133 points. This win has secured them a place in the State Final to be played next Wednesday 26 June.
The boys set up the match right from the start, kicking six goals to nil in the first quarter. The team was brilliant; their run and carry style of play was electric and superb to watch. Their ability to transfer play and create space provided opportunity for the forwards and had them extending the lead at the end of each quarter. Their ability to keep focused and constantly work hard for each other was very pleasing from the team perspective. The final score was CMC 24-13-157 to Mornington Secondary 3-6-24
The Grand Final will be played at Trevor Barker Oval, Beach Road, Sandringham at 12.30pm.
