Bendigo Basketball Junior Classic a triumph at Mercy Junortoun Sporting Precinct

Over the Australia Day long weekend, the Mercy Junortoun Sporting Precinct (MJSP) assisted the Bendigo Basketball Association to host the biggest sporting event to date at the venue. The Bendigo Basketball Junior Classic attracted 1,500 players and spectators per day to the MJSP.

Players come from far and wide – Mildura, Warrnambool, Geelong, Sale, Knox, Wodonga, Geelong and Ballarat to name just a few of the visiting associations.

All participants, their families and friends were amazed at the facilities the MJSP has to offer the Catherine McAuley College Bendigo students and our community.

Other events during the school holidays at the MJSP included the Kelly Sports School Holiday program, Melbourne Renegades clinics, Junior Cricket Country Week and clubs in Bendigo using the Cricket Hub.
