Teachers commit to after-school learning
08/03/2019The learning never stops at Catherine McAuley College. A group of twenty-five staff are studying hard this term to achieve a qualification in Teaching ESL Students in Mainstream Classes (TESMC).
This course involves several after-school sessions across Term 1 and will help our teachers to work more effectively with students whose first language is not English. It will also help with our school-wide literacy strategies.
These sessions are being facilitated by the Catholic Education Office in Melbourne with support from the Sandhurst Diocese. We congratulate our teachers on giving up more of their afternoons to continue to learn and to support our students.
