SPAN Walk 2025

Catherine McAuley College Bendigo (CMCB) Student Representative Council members participated in the Suicide Prevention Awareness Network (SPAN) walk on Sunday 16 March, to help promote awareness around suicide and mental health with the message that tough times pass and that support is always available if you are going through a hard time.

The CMCB student leaders assisted as marshals for the walk and as servers for the community barbecue. They had the opportunity to talk to people with lived experience of loss and to meet people from different agencies, including  SPAN committee members, Bendigo Community Health Services and headspace staff who are available to provide support.
