Year 8 News – 11 April 2025

11/04/2025

The Year 8 students have done a tremendous job of making it to the holidays in what’s been an incredibly busy term! Balancing assessments, camp, external sport finals and other hobbies… It’s not easy and we commend the resilience that our students have shown in the past month.

We had a wonderful celebration as a College on the final day of term, coming together for the Caritas Big Walk. These types of events where we have the whole College together are so special and certainly are highlights of our school calendar. The Year 8s carried themselves reverently throughout the liturgy and solidarity walk – an opportunity for them to reflect on the many things we can take for granted here in Australia – nothing like a bit of perspective.

We wish the students a restful break. We hope they have an opportunity to connect with friends and family and recharge their batteries ready for Term 2. A friendly reminder that we don’t start back until Tuesday 22 April due to the Easter Monday public holiday.

Happy Easter and God Bless.
