Year 11 Camp 2025
18/02/2025Year 11 Camp is a great opportunity for students to enhance relationships as members of the CMCB community. While on camp, students enjoyed activities such as abseiling, high ropes, flying fox, canoeing and games. These activities promote teamwork, self-confidence, and resilience and develop problem-solving skills while having fun in the outdoors.
“Our camp was a great experience and definitely something that I highly recommend. Having the time away from technology was a great break whilst having activities all day to keep us busy. A highlight was seeing some of my close mates facing their fear of heights. The place was great, and I especially loved all the regular cake that was on offer.”

“Year 11 camp was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed being able to spend time with my friends, doing the activities and getting out of my comfort zone. I was in a group with all my friends, which made it so much easier to do the scarier activities because of their amazing support. The best activities were the laser tag, the giant swing and swimming (because it was so hot). On day 2, the REACH program came in to do a personal development session with all of us, and it was a really eye-opening activity. The people running the program were easy to talk to, encouraging and supportive. Overall, this camp was one of the best camps I’ve been on, and I would encourage anyone who has the opportunity to just do it.”
