Eye-Opening Bendigo Jobs Expo 2024

Fourteen Catherine McAuley College Bendigo students attended the Bendigo Jobs Expo 2024 at Red Energy Arena on Wednesday 4 September. This was a fantastic opportunity to connect with up to 70 exhibitors who are actively recruiting right here in our region!

“On 4 September all Year 12 Vocational Major (VM) students went to the Bendigo Jobs Expo at Red Energy Arena. There was a range of different industries, including defence, nursing, disability, banking, agriculture, aged care, along with Bendigo TAFE and many apprenticeship supports. We had two hours to walk around different stalls speaking to anyone that we thought could lead us into a job or an apprenticeship. It was very eye-opening experience, and it would be worthwhile for the Year 11 VM students to attend in 2025.”
