Merino Wether Challenge 2024

What a day at the Merino Sheep Challenge on Wednesday 28 August! Our ten amazing students gave it their all, competing fiercely against other schools in fleece judging, carcass weight, showing and the coveted Grand Champion award.

While we didn’t snag a win in any category this year, we are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication our team showed. The students have shown tremendous growth in their sheep husbandry skills and sheep industry knowledge. Sometimes it’s not about the trophy but the experience and growth we gain along the way.

We’re already excited and motivated to come back stronger next year. Stay tuned for more updates and progress as we continue to improve and aim for a better result in 2025.
