On Thursday 16 May, our Year 8 Girls Netball Teams took to the Golden City Netball Courts to participate in the Sandhurst Netball Competitions.

Year 8A Netball Team

The Catherine McAuley College (CMCB) Year 8A Team excelled in the recent Sandhurst tournament. The team defeated Crusoe College (22-8), Bendigo South East College (26-2) and Victory Christian College (36-1) in the pool rounds. Their skill and teamwork led to impressive wins, securing a spot in the Semi-final and then comfortably progressing to the Grand Final.

In the Grand Final against Crusoe College, the game was tighter and filled with pressure. Despite Crusoe being a determined team, the CMCB girls stayed focused and emerged victorious, winning by nine goals.

Congratulations to the team for their outstanding performance, well-deserved victory and the excellent sportsmanship displayed by everyone throughout the entire day.
