Open Day 2023

Open Day was held on Wednesday 23 March 2023. Luckily, the rain held off and visitors were able to walk around in comfort to enjoy touring the facilities, being entertained by our students and gaining a good understanding of what facilities we have to offer at Catherine McAuley College, Bendigo.

It was a very successful evening with a wonderful turnout. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many future Year 7s with their families. They displayed great enthusiasm and asked many thoughtful questions, which made the event a very valuable start to their transition journey.

Well done and thank you to all our student volunteers, who contributed in so many ways to the success of the day. The students led interesting and engaging tours, gave informative talks and generally showcased our College with great pride. Meanwhile, other students performed on the stage, cooked delicious treats or chatted with our visitors about learning and life at CMC.

Thank you to our dedicated staff who welcomed our visitors with great hospitality, presented valuable information and gave generously of their time.

A huge thank you to the members of Huntly Epsom Lions Club, who generously volunteered their time to cook the BBQ, ensuring nobody went home hungry!
