Mercy

In the spirit of Mercy, we gather today in this place to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Dja Dja Wurrung and their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge and respect that the land we live, learn and play on is traditionally owned by the Djaara People of the Kulin Nation. We thank them for their continuing care of the land, flowers, animals, trees, mountains and waterways. Together, we seek to learn more about Djaara cultures and histories, walking beside first nations peoples towards reconciliation.

Holly & Liam, 2025 Faith Captains

She would come home, and you could hear the emotion in her voice, and the excitement. She was almost reliving the events that she had while she was there with the residents. She loved it – just loved it - and loved learning outside of the classroom.
